Yes, we may use X-rays to detect cavities and monitor dental development. Our equipment is designed with children in mind, and we take necessary precautions to minimize radiation exposure, making it safe for your child.
Regular check-ups are typically recommended every six months. However, individual needs may vary, and our dentist will tailor a personalized schedule based on your child's oral health.
Fluoride is beneficial in preventing tooth decay. Our dentist will assess your child's risk for cavities and recommend fluoride treatments as needed, ensuring their teeth receive optimal protection.
Talk positively about the dentist, read books, and play pretend dentist to create a positive association. Avoid sharing any negative experiences to minimize anxiety.
Dental sealants are a preventive measure to protect molars from decay. Our dentist may recommend sealants based on your child's dental history and susceptibility to cavities.
Encourage regular brushing with fluoride toothpaste, flossing, and maintaining a balanced diet. Establishing good oral hygiene habits early contributes to a lifetime of healthy smiles.
We understand that dental anxiety is common, especially in children. Our team is experienced in creating a positive and comfortable environment. We also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help alleviate anxiety during procedures.
Nitrous oxide is a safe and effective sedation option. Administered through a mask, it helps children relax without putting them to sleep. Our trained staff monitors your child throughout the procedure to ensure their safety.
While nitrous oxide is often effective, we understand that some children may need additional support. In such cases, we may refer you to specialists for alternative sedation options tailored to your child's specific needs and medical history.
